"To improve aviation safety and to enhance scientific knowledge"

YOU CAN HELP

NARCAP was designed to engage a unique set of circumstances and had to intentionally side-step some of the more standard business models. As a result, Dr. Haines and I created an organization that is paid for out of our own pockets. While NARCAP has need for financial support, that support would be most helpful with respect to travel expenses, frequent flyer miles, etc.

As NARCAP begins to work on the international stage and conducts research, conference and symposia at the request of the the official research teams of the world, the need for NARCAP staff to be present is greater than ever.

You can help by either making a direct, tax exempt gift, to our travel fund or you can inquire as to our pending travel dates and assist us on a case by case basis.

NARCAP has operated on a small budget for a very long time and we are quite good at getting the most out of a dollar.

Please contact Ted Roe at ted_roe@narcap.org if you would like to help us with this most important aspect of our work.

Activism:

U.S.A.

Collecting data that reflects truly anamolous phenomena is hampered by several factors including an under-reporting bias. This bias is complicated by a lack of means to report incidents that may involve UAP to the various aviation reporting systems of the FAA and the NTSB. It would be helpful to modify FAA and NTSB reporting forms to reflect UAP incident profiles and for aviation witnesses to be encouraged to report all incidents involving aviation safety no matter how unusual.

In this fashion we can better understand the frequency of occurance of these events as well as learn more about the characteristics of UAP and their effects on aviation safety.

International:

These efforts can be even further enhanced by developing standardized reporting and investigative protocols at the international level. There are several international offices studying anomalous aerial phenomena in the aviation context. Due to the low frequency of occurance of these events it is useful to develop regional data sets to better understand the scope and nature of these phenomena. We want to encourage international aviation officials to develop data collection programs that will interlock and increase our understanding of UAP and their effects on aviation safety.

Please forward any ideas, suggestions or questions to Ted Roe.

White Papers:

NARCAP is will post scientific papers and academic studies on this website if they meet high standards for research and are appropriate to the topic.

Specifically we are interested in:

* Historical analysis of aviation related UAP incidents and observations.

* Scientific analysis of phenomena that could be responsible for UAP incidents and observations.

* Statistical examinations of databases and historical information for UAP related data

If you would like to forward a paper for this consideration please contact Richard Haines at arc1@att.net

Fundraising:

NARCAP is in fundraising mode and seeking support for research projects, operating costs and outreach. We are seeking potential sources for grants and donations. If you are interested in sponsoring one of our research projects or studies please contact Ted Roe at Ted Roe or call 808-854-9666.

NARCAP Volunteers:

NARCAP is seeking the involvement of qualified scientists and academics as well as pilots and aviation professionals, administrative specialists, graphics designers, media consultants, grant writers, language translators, etc., to assist in the examination of these unusual phenomena. If you are interested in providing volunteer support for NARCAP research and studies please contact Ted Roe
